Trade Up: Trades & Tech Summer Camp
About Trade Up
Trade Up is designed to give high school students direct exposure to modern trades
and technical programs through structured rotations and hands-on learning. Participants
gain experience with tools, equipment, and instructors while exploring real career
pathways beyond the traditional classroom.

emphasizing safety, supervision, and hands-on learning
Camp Details
Dates: July 6–9
Time: 9:00 AM–3:00 PM
Enrollment: Limited to 10 students
Eligibility: Students entering grades 9–12
Location: City College, MSU Billings
Daily Schedule
9:00–11:30 AM - Morning Technical Session
11:30–12:30 PM - Lunch
12:30–3:00 PM - Afternoon Technical Session
Lunch provided with support from local industry partners.
Technical Program Rotations
Students participate in 2.5-hour sessions across multiple areas, which may include:

Diesel Technology

Auto Body

Instrument & Electrical

Process Plant Technology
-
Construction
-
Information Technology
No prior experience is required.
