City College at MSU Billings provides high-quality non-credit learning experiences. We also understand that plans can change. The following policies apply to all non-credit courses delivered in-person, online, or in hybrid formats.

Course Cancellations (City College)

If a course does not meet the minimum enrollment requirement, it may be canceled. Participants will be notified by phone or email at least five (5) days before the start date. You may choose a full refund or transfer your payment to another course.

Participant Cancellations & Refunds

You may cancel your registration for a full refund if you notify us at least five (5) business days before the course begins.

Cancellations received after this point are not eligible for refunds, as instructors have already begun course preparation.

Invoicing & Payment Deadlines

We only issue invoices for approved situations.

When invoicing is used:

  • Payment is due within 30 days of your registration in Aceware
  • Unpaid invoices after 30 days will result in the forfeiture of your seat
  • The seat may be offered to the next person on the waiting list
  • Students with unpaid balances cannot attend class sessions
  • Outstanding invoices must be cleared before registering for future courses

Third-Party Self-Guided Courses

Courses offered through the Center for Legal Studies follow their own cancellation and refund policies. For assistance, contact CLS at (800) 522-7737 or support@legalstudies.com
