Cancellation & Refund Policy


City College at MSU Billings is committed to providing high-quality learning experiences through our non-credit programs. We also recognize that unexpected changes can occur for both participants and instructors.

These terms and conditions apply to all methods of course delivery, including in-person, remote (online), and hybrid formats.

If a course does not meet the minimum required enrollment, it may be canceled. In such cases, registered participants will be notified by phone or email no later than five (5) days before the course start date. Participants will be offered a full refund or the option to transfer their payment to a different course.

If you need to cancel your registration, you may do so for a full refund if notice is given at least five (5) business days prior to the course start date. Cancellations received after this point are not eligible for a refund, as instructors have already invested time and resources in course preparation.

Please note: The above policy does not apply to self-guided instruction offered through our third-party partner, the Center for Legal Studies.
